Injuries from a motorized scooter

by WTW on May 24, 2012

Today many seniors and disabled people are getting on with their lives by using a motorized scooter.

If a motorized scooter comes to you with a manufacturer’s defect or has not been properly maintained, it can cause serious harm, including catastrophic and fatal injuries.  A manufacturer has the responsibility to ensure that their products are designed and manufactured appropriately; they must make sure that there are warnings prominently placed to caution potential users of any possible dangers.

If a defect occurs, it can result in severe spinal cord or brain injuries.  Worst case scenario is long-term paralysis or death.

If you have been injured because of a defective motorized scooter or electric wheelchair, you may be able to recover compensation for your injuries, pain and suffering and medical expenses.  Contact a San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who has been successful in product liability cases, will explain your legal options, and will fight for your rights.
